Born in Taipei and raised in Singapore, Tommy Cheng is a well traveled artist with a strong passion for animation. After graduating from Boston College, he spent 2 years at Lesley University honing his love for motion media before working as a Character Animator at Poke Gravy Studios making music videos, educational short films, and other animated films for a variety of private and commercial clients. Recently, Tommy graduated with his M.F.A. from Tufts University's School of Museum of Fine Arts. Tommy is a fresh artist with a unique perspective and a talent for storytelling. He is inspired by his lived experiences and the social and political injustices he witnesses around him. He prefers to work in Adobe Suite for traditional animation and Maya or Blender for 3D projects.
